OBJECTIV E OF THE STUDY: Main objective of the study is to find out the buying behavior

of the customers coming into Big Bazaar.There are some extensive objectives for the study which are listed below.1 . To determine

the current status of Big Bazaar.2. To find out the customers response towards Big Bazaar.3. To study the satisfaction level

of customers in different attributes of Big Bazaar

generation.Resea rch Methodology is a set of various methods to be followed to find out variousinformati on’s regarding

market strata of different products. Research Methodology isrequired for every industrial service industries

for getting acquire knowledge of their products.

Period of Study:

This study has been carried out for a maximum period of 7 weeks.

Area of study:

The study is exclusively done in the area of marketing. It is a processrequiring care, sophistication, experience,

business judgmen t, and imagination for whichthere can be no mechanical substitutes.

Sampling Desi gn:

The convenience sampling is don e because any pr obabilitysamplin g procedure would require detailed

information about the universe, which is noteasily available further, it being an exploratory research.

Sample Proce dure: In this study “co nvenience samp ling procedure i s used.Convenie nce sampling is

preferred because of some limitation and the complexity of therandom sampling. Area sampling is used in combination

with convenience sampling soas to collect the data from different regions of the city and to

increase reliability.

Sampling Size: The sampling size of the study is 200 users.

Data Collectio n: Data is collected from various cu stomers through personalinteracti on. Specific

questionnaire is prepared for colleting data. Data is collected withmere interaction and formal discussion

with different respondents

Tools of Analysis: The market surv ey and the techn iques for

marketing andin vestment of finance is carried out by physically interacting with the potential customersin big bazaar.

Research Design: The research work is exploratory in nature, and is meant to provide

the basic information required by research objectives. It is a preliminary study based on primary data and

the findings can be consolidated after a detailed conclusivestudy has been carried out.
