Counselling of WBJEE-2009 and AIEEE-2009 rank holders for admission to Engineering / Technological / Pharmacy Degree Colleges / Universities in West Bengal for the academic session 2009-10. The counselling shall be conducted in three phases subject to availability of suitable number of merit listed candidates after 1st and 2nd phase of counselling. The 1st phase counselling of WBJEE-2009 (up to WBJEE rank : Gen – 60000, SC – 6116, ST – 562 and PC – 490) and AIEEE-2009 (up to All India Overall rank 500000) rank holders is scheduled to commence w.e.f. 05.07.2009 (Sunday) and is likely to continue up to 22.07.2009 at YUBA BHARATI KRIRANGAN (Salt Lake Stadium), Salt Lake, Kolkata – 98. The 2nd phase and 3rd phase are likely to take place from 1st to 3rd August, 2009 and on 13th, 14th and 16th August, 2009 respectively. Rules for getting wait listed (for WBJEE-2009 rank holders only) : A candidate reporting at the counselling seeking allotment of seat shall have the option to register himself / herself as a wait listed candidate for next phase of counselling, in case he/she does not accept the allotment of any seat in any college / university available to him/her as per merit during the current phase of counselling. Such option will have to be exercised at the time of counselling it self. Counselling fee : Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) to be paid in the form of Bank draft / Pay Order (payable at Kolkata) to be drawn in favour of “Central Selection committee (E&T)” For counselling form, counselling programme, important guidelines and other detailed information regarding counselling the following websites may be visited from 17.06.2009.
