A Peek at the Week
Reading: We will continue Unit 2: Animals and learn the sounds for /d/, /o/, /b/, /k/ as well as reviewing sounds that we have already learned. Language Arts/Writing: We will continue to use adjectives and begin understanding Antonyms. We will also learn about the different kinds of sentences. Math: This week we will work with addition with sums less than ten. Social Studies: This week we will begin Unit 2 “In My Community”. We will learn map skills and compare different communities. Science: We will continue to plant new seeds and learn how living things grow. We will also learn all of the parts of a plant.
Related Arts Monday: Spanish Tuesday: Computer Wednesday: Art Thursday: Music Friday: PE
Homework Read with your child each night for 20 minutes Complete the homework matrix by Friday!
Classroom News JUNIE B. JONES field trip FORMS and money were due last week. Please send these in as soon as possible.
