About the New Logo... As you may have seen in lobbies throughout the school, and even on the new banner of this publication, the new Columbia Business School Brand has been officially launched. We hope you will take a few moments to join in the festivities in Warren Hall during your breaks throughout the day on Friday.

Columbia Business School Launches New Logo Friday, April 13 11:40am-12:25pm Feldberg Lobby Join Dean Hubbard and fellow students in the lobby of Warren Hall to celebrate the launch of the new Columbia Business School logo. A special lunch will be served for all students in Warren Hall. Mr. Philip Petruzzello, Columbia's Manhattanville expert, will be available to answer questions about the new Columbia Business School building. A model of the Manhattanville project will be on display. Lastly, there will be special logo snacks and a gift for students!

The new logo retains the revered Hermes logo while significantly modernizing it. The typography is also cleaner, bolder and more contemporary than before, and the new color palette-a brighter blue and black instead of grey-is more corporate and less institutional in appearance. This re-branding is, of course, more than just the introduction of a new logo. The visual brand is a graphic representation of the fundamental innovations already begun by the School, solidifying our leadership role in business education in the context of a rapidly changing world. The updated Hermes mark signals our continuing to build on our historical strengths and reputation-bridging theory and practice, unparalleled access to the business community of New York, and research and thought leadership across all disciplines. A brand launch gives us the opportunity to celebrate what makes the School special and the new initiatives that have been recently inaugurated, and reinforces our Brand positioning as "the business school for a rapidly changing world." As the year draws to a close and another class soon joins the ranks of Alumni, the re-branding effort is an opportunity to re-energize the sense of loyalty that comes from belonging to a wonderful institution and tradition.
