The 11th Annual Smyrna Parks 5K Run, High School Challenge and Bill Nash Competitive Mile will be held on Saturday, August 8 at 7:30 AM at Sharp Springs Natural Area. The cost to enter is $15 for pre-registered runners, and $18 on the day of the race. This USATF certified course is one of the fastest, if not the fastest course in the state. The race, part of the Nashville Striders Grand Prix Series, will be championchip timed by the club. Training Camp for Athletes will be conducting a softball clinic at Volunteer Park on Saturday, August 29 from 9AM –1PM., and a baseball clinic from 2PM—5PM at Todd Lane Baseball Complex. CONTACT US J. J. McWilliams Old Rock School Park is located at 400 Enon Springs Road West, next to the Smyrna Public Library. The park offers a playground, pavilion, several picnic tables, restroom facilities (at the back of the Library), a scenic pond and nearly a mile of paved walking trails. Old Rock School Park, once the site of Smyrna High School, is named after the school’s principal from 1948-1960, J.J. McWilliams
