Mrs. Roettger’s Classroom Newsletter Welcome Students! I’d like to take a moment to welcome all students and parents to the first grade! My name is Mrs. Roettger, and I am going to be your teacher this year. We will be learning a lot about each other as the year goes on, but I would like to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Lizzie Roettger, and I am very excited to be your teacher this year! My hometown is Blacksburg, Virginia, where my parents still live. I have lived in Richmond for 8 years, and I have my teacher’s license from the University of Richmond. I live with my husband David, two cats, and two chinchillas. I am really looking forward to getting to know each and everyone of you this year!

Contacting Mrs. Roettger Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have about the beginning of the year. School Number: (804) 986-5021 Home Number: (804) 298-6790 Email: [email protected]

Calling all Parents! If you would like to volunteer in our class this year, don’t worry! We have lots of opportunities for parents to become involved. I always welcome parents to come in a help with a project, make photocopies, or volunteer to be a mystery reader! Next week a short survey will be going home to see where parent interest lies. Please return it in your child’s folder if you would like to help out this year. As always, feel free to contact me with any questions you might have about ways to get involved in our class!
