Driving questions:
• Content: Which important issues of the chosen event are worth discussing? • Form: How can you improve on the past presentations? Each team must present a brief news report to the class. • Prepare an introduction of the subject (topic and context). • The news segment must be presented on videotape (in English). • The news presentation must be followed by 3 information questions and 3 deep-thinking questions (questions of opinions) put to the class. • Find a way of enhancing your presentation with something that hasn’t been done by another team before you.

Elements to consider:
• The news item should be fairly recent • The news report team should have some knowledge of the subject in order • • • •

Choose the elements of public speaking you wish to develop. Structure your presentation: introduction, video, transition, questions, conclusion.
