Cultural Programme (12.08.2009) A cultural programme was organized by the Staff Club on 12.08.2008 and a renowned Satveek Veena Vadak S/o Pt Vishwa Mohan Shri Salil Bhatt accompanied two more persons were invited to perform heavenely Satveek Veena programme. The staff members with their family members attended the programme.It was a good learning experience for the families to enjoy the classical programme and how exhilarating experience is witnessed by a renowned expert of classical instrument Krishna Janmastami (14.08.2009) As per the normal practice the festivity of Krishna Janmashtami was celeberated with lots of enthusiasm by the RSWM KGM club pariwar.Till late recitation of various Bhajans and pooja was carried out by unit pandits and devotees .At the culmination of 12PM, the birth of Lord Krishan was celebrated by the attending members enthusiatically. Independence Day (15.08.09) On the occasion of 63rd Independence day National Flag was hoisted by Shri. Rajeev Jain, Chief Operating Officer, Kharigram Unit in the lawns adjoining the Administrative Block of the Kharigram unit . The occasion begun by paying homage to freedom fighters & their contribution to bring the Nation to it’s present foothold , To commemorate the occasion in the similar veins, 15 workers were honoured for their excellent services to the company on different occasions. Further, Talent scholarships to the extent of Rs. 84800/- were given to the meritorious 188 wards of the workers through Sharmik Kalyan Kosh. The Sharmik Kalyan Kosh is operated through the contributions both from workers and the company & is well managed by a team from both the sides. On this occasion the Sharmik Kalyan Kosh & the Staff Club extended help to the deserving & needy students by distributing uniforms to 55 students of 8 different schools of the nearby villages. On this occasion, addressing workers, staff members and officers, our COO Shri Rajeev Jain asked to emulate the past glory of the unit. Md. Iliyas, the President of INTUC Uniion, was also present, addressing the

gathering, he talked about future prospects of the Company and work environment, prevalent in the Company. The concluding session of the Independence Day celebrations had colourful dances and cultural programmes presented by the children of nearby schools. Out of the school contingent participating to make the occasion a grand affair, the children of the workers with us were involved for almost each programme. And they had cheers from their acquaintances during the programme. One day Picnic Programme (31st Aug. & 6th Sep. 09) The picnic programme was arranged by the RSWM club Kharigram for the families of the employee’s in two parts on 31st and 6th Sept 09.The Birla Water park near Ajmer was chosen as the venue.The day long activity involved cultural/housie programmes apart from enjoying the water park and the facilities of swimming ,riding ,water slippery and music fountains.The day shall be remembered by all the wards and the family for it's group entertainment as well as the delicious food and fun organized by the club. Vishwakarma Pooja The Vishwakarma Pooja on the 17th Sept 09 was celeberated with pooja of Lord vishwakarma and also of the tools and kits of amintenance and Engineering staff/foreman etc.The COO and other officers atetnded the same with devotion along with the concerned workmen. 19.09.2009 – 29.09.2009 – Navratra Celebrations This year Navratra Celebrations from 19.09.2009 to 29.09.2009 were celebrated in our Campus. Each day had the Durga Saptha Sati Pujan in the morning by CE (YB), the COO and pair of Core Team Members with their family members during nine days celebrations on different dates and in the evening during the Navratra Celebrations, Garba was organised till late evening, participated whole-heartedly by the Colony residents as well as the staff residing nearby areas. The event of Garba was very well co-ordinated and conducted by the young team drawn from the family members.

30.09.2009 – MAYUR DUSSHERA MELA After a gap of one year the Mayur Dusshera Mela was organized by the RSWM KGM under the guidance of the CE(YB) .The preparations had started well in advance for the clearance of the grounds /Mela displays/Stalls/Effigy preparations & related works of lighting and management of the day for security and facilities on the grounds.The highlights of this year Dusshera was the Jahnkies ( Tableaus ) which were brought from distant places to shorne the occasion. The various committees formed worked alround to ensure the success of the mela .Almost one lac of crowd from the adjoining villages thronged the place to enjoy the festivity and the well organized and safe Mayur Mela.The stalls offered all the locul and the recipes and dishes to the families. A group of Udaipur Lok Kala mandal was also doing their best to entertain the crowds.The RAMYANA hymns hung all over the streets opened to the visitors added another charm to the occasion.The three effigies were burnt in time ,once the RATH Yatra of the Lord Rama along with accompanying VANAR Sena arrived to kill the demons. The burning of effigies followed with great fire works thorughly enjoyed by the large attending crowd.It was one of the best Melas so fa and the kids and families enjoyed to the hilt.VIP's and dignitary including MLA's and SDM/Collectors also witnessed the festivity from the VIP enclosure specailly designed in the proximity of the mela ground. The Mayur Dushera Mela , this time shall be remembered for it's magnimous dimensions and excelenmt arrangements. 09.10.2009 – VVIP Visit – Shri Mahendra Jeet Malviya & Shri Ram Lal Jat. Two of the VVIP's visited the mills premises during their visits namely Shri Mahendra Jeet Malviya and Shri Ram Lall Jat on 9th October.Senior officers of the unit welcomed them

Lakshmi Pujan & Deepawali (17.10.09) Lakshmi Pujan was performed at RSWM Ltd., Kharigram on the occasion of Deepawali on 17.10.2009. The Pujan was attended by the Staff Members with their family members with full involvement and chanting of Mantras during the Pujan to ensure prosperity and success of the unit. The Pujan followed by distribution of Prasad and Crackers to wards of the Staff members and after the Pujan, staff members enjoyed with bursting of Crackers and fireworks. Deepawali Sneha Milan (26.10.2009) As per the existing practice, Sneha Milan was organised in the Mill’s Campus, adjoining to Rajspin Staff Club. During the Sneha Milan, No. of VIPs, Dignitaries, Staff Members along with their family members were invited to celebrate festive occasion of Deepawali on 26.10.2008. The welcome followed by an elaborate dinner for all the Guests and Staff members with their family members.
