TECHNETIUM Technetium is a technical quiz contest and you will have every chance to hone up your wits. This thrilling , scintillating roller coaster event can be won only by a team with the right combination of knowledge ,reflexes ,application skills and hence the ultimate panache. RULES AND REGULATION • Each team shall have two members. • Depending on the number of entries screening will be done before the final round. • Decision of the panel of judges will be final & binding.

DARK CODING This is an over night programming contest where the participants have one night to solve the challenging problem and submit the same at the stated time next morning. RULES AND REGULATION • Teams of two persons only. • A P C loaded with required software will be provided to work on. • The winner will be judged on simplicity, efficiency and effectiveness of the solved problem. • During the evaluation and testing , the participants must be present to answer queries , if any.

FORMAT OF PAPER TITLE PAGE : This should provide • The Title • The name(s) of the author(s) • Name of the institute / university. MAIN TEXT : This paper should include a well structured , clear and concise presentation of the subject matter .The body of the paper should be suitably numbered to facilitate case of reference. REFERENCES : All the references should be suitably numbered and listed in the bibliography at the end of the paper. Also, all contributions to the paper must be clearly specified. ABSTRACT : A copy of the abstract – not exceeding 800 words ; should be sent along with each copy of the paper for preliminary selection before 5th April,2005. RULES AND REGULATION : • The number authors for one paper is limited to 2 . • Paper should be typewritten on A4 size paper and should not exceed 12 pages. • Participants if required will be provided with lodging and boarding but they are supposed to inform before 5 th April for the same. • One copy of the abstract should be sent to the mailing address before 5th April , 2005 . • Participants must report in person in person at the control desk to confirm their registration . • LCD projector for the presentation would be provided.

• Participants will be allowed 12 minutes for presentation followed by a question and answer round session of 3 min.
