2019 National Women’s Month Celebration Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 24 and 227 Series of 1998 declares the observance of the Month of March as Women’s Role in History Month and Republic act No.6949 Series of 1990 declares March 8 of every year as National Women’s Day. This year’s theme, “We Make Change Work for Women,” highlights the empowerment of women as active contributors to and claimholders of development. It also aims to give recognition to the contributions of Filipino women in our society. In line to this celebration, Bulacnin Integrated National High School conducts various activities for the NWMC 2019; one of these activities enables students to show their artistry in making a bookmark following the theme. Students from different grade levels participated in the contest. At first, we discussed the objectives, guidelines, and most importantly the criteria for judging. After the preliminaries, students started in making their bookmark and took an hour to finish and named the winner of the contest.
