EURO-MED LIDOCAINE HCl Generic name:

LIDOCAINE HCl Dosage:

Local/regio nal anesthIndivi dualize dosage. Antiarrhyt mic 0.7-1.4 mg/kg body wt IV, or 1-4 mg/min IV infusion or 45 mg/kg body wt IM. Max dose: 200 mg given within 1 hour period.

SIDE EFFECTS Mild drowsiness w/ parethesias, agitation, disorientatio n, muscle twitching, frank convulsion & resparrest. Bradycardia, hypotension, CV collapse & cardiac arrest.

DRUG INTERACTIONS Additive effect with other arrythmics.
