MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY Teaching is a noble task and continuously process that needs very high commitment in order to develop human’s potential through various aspects. I believe that each people possess different and unique abilities during their learning process take place. As education is the vital aspect in changing one’s life, it is important for me to learn to ‘educate’ people, not just for teaching subject content only. Jean Piaget ever said, “the principle goal of education is to create men who are capable of doing new things, not simply of repeating what other generations have done”. In other words, education served as a main key to produce creative, inventive and discoverer’s person. On the other hand, I believe that learning occurs naturally in the learner. So, my crucial task as a educators is to attract them and always motivate them to always love education and learning process itself. Aristotle ever said that “educating the mind without educating the hearts is no education at all”. As an educator, I will let my students to be a ‘mature human being’ which never neglects human being aspect. The perspective of nowadays education is just to teach them and score as best result as they can. But for me, I want to instill and develop ‘education learning’ which is, not only focused on subject contents only but also on student’s ability to practice these noble values and human intrinsic motivation they experienced in their lives. I want to make a difference in each of my student’s lives. By being a good role model and inspiring each of them to practice positive life, I will help them to facilitate themselves to practice good and positive values along their life journey. My classroom learning should be the most fun time. I will never forget to smile or sometimes laugh with them whenever it is needed, as I know, this psychological aspect is the important thing which can help my students to instill positive learning atmosphere and then cultivate inner intrinsic motivation towards their learning and study. Therefore, they will become motivated and think positively each time they enter my classroom. Furthermore, I believe that it is important to be a supportive and open-minded educator towards all my students. My desire is, to help and give guidance to the students in discovering new knowledge. They will seek their knowledge as usual and I will served as their facilitator in giving advices or opinions towards what they want to know. For it to be occurred, I must establish a mutually respectful, honest and then always develop good

communication towards my students. The most important thing that will never be neglected is, I will help students facilitate deep love and respect for themselves. For me, teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. In conclusion, teaching is a lifelong process about new things such as philosophies, new strategies, gaining life experience and subject content itself. As overall, it should be something that brings joy and fun for everyone in this world, only then we will meet our highest satisfaction in both learning and teaching aspect. I hope this philosophy will help me to achieve my mission in producing new generation which is not only master on intellectual skill only but also has a balance emotionally value. Last but not least, education is a part of us, it is our task and forever process to bring new generation towards excellence achievement in their lives.
