MY SCHOOL A UNIQUE ONE Educational institutions are the true seats of learning. The students, who are really anxious to learn, can develop healthy habits only in the schools. In a school we are taught how to move in society, how to behave with others and how to progress in life. A school is a pious place of learning. It plays a significant role in shaping the future personality of a child.
I am a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sambalpur which is one of the oldest KVs of our country and it is one of the first two KVs established in the state of Odisha in the year 1965. It is a pioneer institution run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan, an autonomous body, under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India. It has been functioning in its own building having a very big attractive campus, catering to the educational needs of the children of the transferable Central Govt. employees including defense personnel, State Govt. employees and the floating population. The school is located in the western end of the town of Sambalpur. Our school is generally collaborates with the bodies with CBSE,NCERTetc.
In our school there is a lush garden outside, the school building presents a magnificent view. Its grassy lawns and gravel path with flowers add to its beauty. Besides the beautiful building, spacious grounds and flowered beds, there are other things which attract our particular attentions. There is a big court yard where we all student assemble in the morning for prayers. There is a cycle stand where the teachers and students park their vehicles. Our school has many firsts to its credit. It has won many trophies in Sports as well as in academic The cricket and football teams of our school are adjudged the best in the sports meet for the past four years. In studies, our school shows goods results every year. Our school figures in the merit list every year. Our Principal is a great scholar. Our teachers are well qualified and trained. The students are well behaved and intelligent. The educations authorities are highly satisfied with our school. I am proud of it. It is one’s first and foremost duty to respect one’s school. At last I say that : “SCHOOL IS LIKE A MINE THE MORE U DIG THE MORE JWELLS U GET”
