My Devotion June 10, 2009
Three Promises: DNG 2009 Aftermath AAG Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 (NIV) When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfil your vow. It is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfil it.
I promised the Lord to pray for these specific people whose names I’ll not mention. Before His presence, I committed myself to intercede for these chosen people.
I promised Him that I would do well in school. I had a stronger desire to take my calling (as a Dentist) seriously.
I promised Him that I’d respect and love my mother to the best that I can.
Proverbs 19:2 (NIV) It is not good to have zeal without knowledge, nor to be hasty and miss the way.
