SECTION VI – HEALTH HAZARD DATA EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: May cause some eye and skin irritation like soap. Mist may irritate mucous membranes. Effects of Overexposure: EYES – Prolonged contact can cause irritation, redness, blurred vision. SKIN – Prolonged contact can cause irritation. FIRST AID: Eye Contact - Immediately flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 Minutes. Consult physician Skin Contact- Immediately flush with copious amounts of soap and water for at least 5 minutes. If irritation persists, contact physician. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse. IngestionContact physician or poison control center. If victim is conscious and able to swallow, quickly give milk or water to dilute. Do not give sodium bicarbonate, vinegar, or fruit juice. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. InhalationMove to fresh air. If necessary, give oxygen, artificial respiration. Contact physician. SECTION VII – SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS: None Respiratory Protection: Not required Ventilation: Not required – misting operations may require adequate ventilation. Eye Protection: Wear safety glasses where no contact with the eye is anticipated. There is the possibility of splashing or other contact with the eyes. Protective Gloves: Impervious. Other Protection: Wear protective clothing to prevent skin contact. SECTION VIII – SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES: For large spills – soak up with sand or sweeping compound and dispose as solid waste. For small spills – flush to industrial sewer.
