SECTION VI – HEALTH HAZARD DATA Under Normal Use Conditions: May cause eye and skin irritation. Effects of Overexposure: Eyes – Contact can cause temporary irritation, tearing and blurred vision. Skin – prolonged contact can cause severe irritation. Inhalation – Not likely to occur due to low volatility of product. Could cause irritation. Ingestion – Will cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract if not treated. First Aid: Eyes – Immediately flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Consult physician. Skin – Immediately flush with copious amounts of soap and water for at least 5 minutes. If irritation persists, contact physician. Launder contaminated clothing before re-use. Ingestion – Induce vomiting immediately. Administer 2 glasses of water and stick finger down throat. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call physician immediately. Inhalation – Remove to fresh air. If necessary, give oxygen, artificial respiration. Contact physician. SECTION VII – SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION Respiratory Protection: Proper ventilation or NIOSHA/MSHA approved respirator. Use local exhaust. Ventilation: Not required. Misting operations may require adequate ventilation. Eye Protection: Chemical goggles. Protective Gloves: Impervious. Other Protection: Wear protective clothing to prevent skin contact. SECTION VIII – SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS Handling & Storage: Wash hands after handling and before eating or smoking. Protect from freezing. Follow label instructions carefully. Steps To Be Taken In Case of Spill or Release: Small spills – rinse area with water Large spills – material may be absorbed with inert material (earth, sand, vermiculite), sweep up and collect material into waste containers for disposal. Do not use sodium nitrate or other nitrosating agents for absorbent as they may form nitrosodiethanolamine. THIS PRODUCT MAY BE CLASSIFIED AS A RCRA OR CERCLA HAZARDOUS WASTE SUBSTANCE DUE TO IGNITABILITY.
