2018 was one of the worst seasons for the Arizona Cardinals not only placing last in NFC West but placing last in the entire NFL for the season. With a game ratio of 3-13.They only managed to earn 3 wins, twice against the 49ers and once against Green Bay Packers. On March 15, 1988, the NFL team owners voted to allow to move the Cardinals from St. Louis to Phoenix, Arizona Despite being the oldest pro-football team with continuous existence in the United States Since they have won only 1 title. Since 1988 when the cardinals relocated to Phoenix, they have won 0 Super Bowl titles and have had only 1 super bowl appearance which they lost 27-23 against the Pittsburgh Steelers
The Phoenix Suns started as an organization in 1969. Their main team colors are Purple and Orange. Throughout the years, the Suns have had great players such as Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’ Neal, and Steve Nash. Although, the Suns have never actually won a championship. They came close to winning the two times they made the finals, laying against the Boston Celtics and the Chicago Bulls. Recently, Devin Booker who is a shooting guard for the Suns has emerged as Phoenix’s star player. Despite having the number one pick last year in Deandre Ayton, and hiring a new coach, Igor Kokoskov they still have the worst record in the entire NBA. The Phoenix Suns current record stands at 16 W -52 L, with 14 games left.
The team began in 1971 originally as the Winnipeg Jets of the World Hockey Association, after the WHA ceased operations, the team was absorbed into the National Hockey League in 1979 and renamed Phoenix Coyotes. Their name was changed once more in 2014 to the Arizona Coyotes that we know them as today.
