I initially chose to enrol in a college course to obtain the necessary credits to enable me to take a degree. However on completing the course i decided to carry on working rather than do a full time degree, with a view to maybe completing it on a part time basis at a later date. EMPLOYMENT Comany Secretary Gardencare Landscape Limited Podington, Near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire September 2004 - to date Gardencare is a landscaping and garden design business. I am the Company Secretary to the Managing Director. My duties include:

Taking all the incoming telephone calls, filtering the emails, daily accounts including invoicing and following up any payments due. Wages for 12 staff by the online BAC’s system. I am also responsible for arranging the MOT’s, Servicing and Taxing of our 6 Comany vehicles. We have around 31 garden maintenance contracts which i deal with when they need to be renewed. Due to the owner of the business being out with clients of the times I am alone most of the time and the office is my sole responsibity. May 2001 to July 2003 Pattison Lane Estate Agents – Sales Negotionator I initially started with Pattison Lane as weekend cover to deal mainly with telephone calls and booking appointments. I was encouraged to do viewings wiith potentioal clients which i really enjoyed and I proved to be a valuable member of staff. As the majority of clients were available on weekends i managed to close a large percentage of sales. APRIL 1998 TO JUNE 1999 Allders Department Store – Chatham, Kent I joined Allders in the Linen department after taking four months off after the birth of my first child.The role was dealing with customers on a face to face basis, mainly ensuiring they could locate stock transfers and contacting the customer when there products were in store. I also cashed up the tills when the store had closed. I left after 14 months to go on maternity leave. APRIL 1995 TO NOVEMBER 2007 Fairways Rover Limited – Fleet Administrator This was a new department that i was responsible for setting up. I was responsible for alla administration and control of the UK fleet of company cars for Lloys TSB Financial Consultants. I dealt with approxiamately 300 cars a month, this ensompased extensive liasing with Lloyds Bank Consultants and Managers across the cournty to arrange for their used car to be collected and their new vehicle to be delivered out to them. I had a team of around 6 drivers that were responsible for this task. I arranged the servicing of the used cars and either redistribute them to other member of Lolyds tsb or send to hem to be auctioned. I was also responsible for the writing and issuing of tax discs via a direct link to the DVLA Swansea and all the necessary invoicing. This was an enjoyable and rewarding role with a level of responsiblity and one which i only left to go on maternity leave. APRIL 1986 – 1995 British Rail – Various area throughout London MAY 1991 TO MARCH 1995 My finishing role within br was within the Divisonal Road Vehicle Manger office organising a fleet of approx 550 british rail vehicles. I was my responsibility to ensure our vehicle were o time for servies and mots and to ensure they had valid tax dciscs.

I also had to deal with the road traffic accidents involving our staff. Diplomacy skills ere paramount in this role, expeciall dealing with irate members of the public. After two years our office expanded by another six
