Pursuant to Rule 11.6 of the California Public Utilities Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure, Expo Communities United (ECU), protestant in the Application A06-12-005 and Consolidated Proceedings, respectfully requests an extension of time to file an Application for Rehearing on Commission’s Interim Order 07-12-029. ECU is requesting an additional 2 weeks (14 days) and thus will file its Application on or by February 5, 2008. In compliance with Commission rules, all parties have been contacted and advised of ECU’s intention to file this Motion for Extension of Time. Neighbors For Smart Rail was notified by phone and representative Colleen Mason Heller has stated that the extension will in no way inconvenience or compromise their interests as parties in this proceeding. Attorney Zahirah Washington, Strumwasser & Woocher LLP, speaking for the Los Angeles Unified School District also agreed to the 2 week extension of time requested by ECU.
