ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS I. Diploma OR Special Case Candidates General University Requirements: Diploma from any institutions that are recognised by UUM and is related to the programme that is being applied for;

OR other equivalent qualifications that have been validated by the Malaysian Government and approved by the UUM Senate. Special Programme Requirements: Pass a special profile test and interview performed by UUM. II. STPM Candidates General University Requirements: 1.Good Pass mark in SPM/equivalent; 2.Credit Pass in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia at the SPM/equivalent level; 1.Pass STPM examinations with the following minimum grades: •Grade C ( NGMP 2.00 ) for the General Studies ( Pengajian Am ) subject; and •Grade C ( NGMP 2.00 ) for two ( 2 ) other subjects. AND •Have successfully taken the Malaysian University English Test ( MUET ) . Special Programme Requirements: Credit in Mathematics or Additional Mathematics at the SPM level. III. Matriculation Candidates General University Requirements: 1. Good Pass mark in SPM/equivalent; 2. Credit Pass in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia at the SPM/equivalent level; 3. Pass the Matriculation programme by the Malaysian Ministry of Education; and 4. Have successfully taken the Malaysian University English Test ( MUET ) . Special Programme Requirements: Credit in Mathematics or Additional Mathematics at the SPM level. IV. Equivalent Qualification Candidates General University Requirements: 1. Good Pass mark in SPM/equivalent; 2. Credit Pass in Bahasa Melayu/Bahasa Malaysia at the SPM/equivalent level; 3. Have other equivalent qualifications that have been validated by the Malaysian Government and approved by the UUM Senate; and 4. Have successfully taken the Malaysian University English Test ( MUET ) . Special Programme Requirements: 1. Credit in Mathematics and pass Additional Mathematics at the SPM level.

BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT (WITH HONOURS) [B. TECH. MGT. (HONS.)] INTRODUCTION

The Faculty of Technology Management focuses heavily on aspects of technology and management as required by most technology-based industries and institutions. The faculty offers four different focus areas namely manufacturing, construction,

electrical/electronics as well as Electronic Business and Industrial Computing. Students are required to undergo practical training for at least four months before eligibile to be awarded with B. Tech. Mgt. ( H ons ) degree. As to create an all rounder student, MOT related courses allow students to go after courses of their particular interest which resides external to their majoring courses. Most of these courses provide students an opportunity to work in cross-disciplinary teams.

Graduates of B. Tech. Mgt. ( Hons. ) are able to hold positions in public or private institutions in various fields related to management and technology. Although the programme is recently introduced, it has succeeded in producing many graduates who are capable to serve current competitive job market. Technical Sectors
