I printed a copy of The Three Little Pigs. The pages were placed out of order on my flannel board.

Mixed up story pages

Introducing the Lesson I used a puppet (Clairesse) to introduce the lesson. Clairesse informed us that the Big Bad Wolf snuck into our classroom during the night and began huffing and puffing. We examined the room and noticed that a picture was falling down and that my story pages had been mixed up.

Examining the Evidence As I began reading the story several students began to notice that the story did not make sense. B stated, “See that’s not right…it’s out of order.” K came up to show me where the story should begin.
