I designed new water closed circuit extent for milling with geotechnical studies. • As Mine Superintendent at the gold mine of Dieu‐Merci in French Guiana, I participated in reducing ranks from 60 to 40 in the mine, improving employees’ efficiency and work ambiance and reducing thefts of materials. I built new laboratory in gold mine of Dieu‐Merci dedicated to fire assays analysis. • As Assistant Mining Engineer of Auplata, I introduced industrial accounting to determine the cost of the tangible fixed assets production over both mines of Yaou and Dieu‐Merci. I fixed several environmental conformities lacks over both mines of Dieu‐Merci and Yaou ; as a result, mining authorization at Yaou will be renewed at beginning of 2009 by government. CARREER EXPERIENCE AUPLATA ‐ gold mines of Yaou & Dieu‐Merci, French Guiana | march 2007 – present • Mining Engineer I deal with mining studies (resources estimations, pit design and pit optimization with Rockworks and Gemcom Surpac) and technical studies (water close circuit for milling, dyke conception, topographical survey with Station Totale Sokkia). I developed several data processing tools to deal with survey data (from augers, drilling and topography).
• Mine superintendent I supervise lab, mining and milling operations at Dieu‐Merci gold mine (mine isolated in deep Amazonian rain forest, 50 workers from different Latin America countries). I do administrative work tasks concerning employees, planning management and punctual technical studies (dykes, tracks, topography). • Assistant Mining Engineer I am in charge of relation with government administrations, application for mining, building and milling authorisations. I deal with administrative cases and environmental conformity requirements on the mines. I do monthly activity reports for both mines.
