Fossil Fuel is pollution. It can cause green house effects and also warming the earth. It is non-renewable. Burning coal produces more carbon dioxide than oil or gas. Mining coal can be dangerous and difficult. Coal mining destroys large areas of landscape. Coal power stations need huge amounts of fuel, which means trainloads of coal almost constantly.

1. The coal gets heated by the heat exchanger. 2. Then steam tuns turbine. 3. Turbine turns generator. 4. Geneator makes electricity.
