Dalits are people or children who cannot go to school. They are referred to as “untouchables” and they usually live in the slums of India. They need so much help because they feel they are worthless, and they don’t know of God’s love for them.

Women are despised in parts of Asia just because they are female. Many female babies are aborted when they are first born, and if they do remain with their families, they are usually illiterate.
Reflection: GFA I learned a lot about the countries in Asia while doing this WebQuest. I knew parts of the countries were in poverty, but I didn’t know that a significant amount of the country was. Another thing I learned while completing the WebQuest was that Hinduism and Buddhism are the main religions in most of Asia. I was surprised to hear that Islam was not a main religion in Asia, as I already knew Christians were very sparse in Asia. Also, I never knew that it snowed great amounts in Asia. I had always thought that it hardly snowed, and when it did that the amount wasn’t that much. The countries in Asia are very similar to the ones in Africa. There is very little education in both Asia and Africa, so the children and adults are both very illiterate. The countries are poor and overpopulated, which makes the cities dirty and the amount of living space minimal. There is little water and food for the people in these countries. The water is very dirty, so the civilians get diseases. Once they get diseases, most of the people die due to poor medical care. As Christians, we need to tell these people that God loves them, as well as try to provide food, water, and shelter for the poorer people.
