1. (S) The interview began with a discussion of how the DO's European Division (EUR) interacts and coordinates with the Counterterrorism Center (CTC) in the conduct of CT operations. Drumheller noted that the area divisions' and functional centers need each other and work effectively together to conduct operations. The centers are the focal points for counterterrorism operational and substantive expertise on a global basis while the area divisions have regional and specific country expertise
