Messaging Team Requirements 3 years of experience supporting enterprise systems

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong understanding and experience with MS Exchange 2007 in an enterprise environment including backup and restore procedures, Front End/Back End setups, OWA, RPC/HTTPS, message flow and security. Experience supporting Enterprise Trend Anti-SPAM products. Unix Systems Administrator Role/Team Summary The successful candidate will be a member of the UNIX system administrators.

Team Function and responsibilities The UNIX team is responsible for full life cycle support of Solaris, and RedHat Linux servers in RBS Greenwich Capital (currently about 1200 servers across 2 sites in CT) including specification of new servers, build and installation, support, backup, performance monitoring and capacity planning.

Role specific responsibilities Day to day support of Solaris & other UNIX servers. Monitoring the UNIX team work queue and proactively resolving problems. Assistance with server & storage provisioning. Backup environment administration. Project work for existing and new systems. The candidate will be expected to join a call out rota and participate in an onsite shift rota covering 07:00a to 6:00p 5 days a week.

Essential Experience Business knowledge • Experience within a large financial institution or in a trading floor environment highly desirable. Technical knowledge • 3-5 Years experience with Solaris operating system (up to version 10) on broad range of Sun SPARC hardware and PC based x86 hardware as well. • Experience with NIS, NFS, Automounter, Jumpstart, DNS, SMTP, BSD printing, Disk Suite; Borne shell scripting; performance monitoring; general problem resolution (software and hardware). Storage Administrator Role/Team Summary To provide systems administration support to all enterprise storage platforms managed by RBSGC Technology including capacity management, hardware support and associated toolsets to configure and monitor the estate: SAN storage (EMC Symmetrix/Clariion), Fibre Channel switched fabric, NAS storage (NetApp), and CAS (Content Addressed Storage – EMC Centera).

Role responsibilities Manage, maintain and enhance the SAN disk and Fibre Channel switched network infrastructure Assist other team members where appropriate in managing other storage infrastructure (NAS and CAS systems) Manage SAN capacity and performance using appropriate reporting & monitoring tools Action requests for new storage, working with other teams Provide input and support for infrastructure and application development projects that require storage infrastructure Ongoing evaluation and analysis of the storage infrastructure to provide optimum performance. IT Controls Analyst Function To perform tasks related to the collection, organization and dissemination of information essential for IT and various business departments to comply with RBS Global policies and best practices across all business units within RBS Securities, North America.

Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the IT Security and Controls Analyst on the IT Controls Team are: Track the execution of remediation plan tasks for open risk issues and provide regular progress reports to management. Act as primary contact for User Entitlement Reviews: track status and manage completion, provide user assistance and maintain database integrity. Create and maintain a complete application/system inventory including details about the application, usage, IT and Business owner data and associated security controls. Create and maintain the security and controls team calendar of activities, alerting members to upcoming events and monitoring task completion for both the calendar and project task listing. Perform periodic control reviews and data collection as assigned by the IT Control Office for Sarbanes-Oxley reporting requirements. IT Security Analyst Function To perform functions related to Information Security and ensure compliance with RBS Global Information Security policy and best practices across all business units within RBS Securities, North America.

Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the IT Security Analyst position on the IT Security Team are: Execute high-level IT Security requests issued by our clients and advise as to best practices. Perform application security risk assessments for new or updated internal or third party applications, maintaining the risk info database. Work with IT and Business staff to perform pre-development security evaluation and architecture guidance. Maintain an up-to-date task list in the team task register and provide regular task reports on major projects. Interface regularly with staff from various departments (e.g. IT, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Legal and Compliance), communicating security issues and responding to requests for assistance and information. Windows Server System Analyst Description This position is 80% support while working on projects providing support for 1500+ users. The candidate must demonstrate skills in many areas but specifically Microsoft Windows, Active directory, DNS, server operating system installs and Hp hardware and blade infrastructure. The candidate must also demonstrate the basic ability to use scripts to automate daily tasks.

Employee will also need experience with Sybase SQL.

Market Data Architecture & Engineering Responsible for the design of RMDS market data hub, including global routing of data and integration strategy. Employee will have 10+ years experience in the market data field. Will have a good cross knowledge of data content and data distribution. Knowledge of networking and routing technology. Multicast and TCP/IP understanding a must.

Market Data Operations Responsible for the running of all market data and e-trading systems handling all the business as usual and project Clockwork procedures. Employee will have 5 to 10 years experience supporting Reuter’s RMDS market data Hub. They will have a working knowledge of Unix systems administration. Ability to communicate and work with Sales and Trading professionals. They will understand market data content and various monitoring tools.
