Pola Pendidikan Transnasional: • Kolaborasi, program twinning • Kampus cabang • Pendidikan jarak jauh 7

LIBERALISASI PENDIDIKAN (2) • Pertumbuhan Pendidikan Transnasional yang cukup besar sejak pertengahan1990 • Exporter terbesar: UK, US, Australia • Importer terbesar: Malaysia, Singapore, China • Negara-negara lain mulai terlibat • Yang paling banyak diselenggarakan adalah program studi Bisnis dan IT 8

KEGIATAN UNTUK MENDORONG INTERNASIONALISASI PT 

Workshop/Seminar kerjasama internasional, 8-9 November 2006 Pameran kerjasama pendidikan internasional, 22 Mei – 2 Juni 2007 di Minnesota, USA Penerbitan profil “The .... University in Indonesia”, setiap tahun. 17

HASIL SEMINAR INTERNASIONALISASI PENDIDIKAN TINGGI (1) • To start the internationalization, higher education institutions must first clearly define what the motivation is, and they must have internationalization statement that is agreed and consistently followed up by the top management of the universities • To be in the ranking list is important but it does not mean everything (It does not mean that your university is out of the quality) But the most important thing is how to continuously improve the quality of all aspect of education

18

HASIL SEMINAR INTERNASIONALISASI PENDIDIKAN TINGGI (2) International standard could be achieved through continual development of, among others: • Research culture • Increase the use of English • Increase the productivity of existing agreements with foreign universities • Build up and make use of the existing linkages with other stake holders out of the campus especially industries and government • Maintain the relationship with alumni as well as with professional associations
