SEEKING NEW MEMBERS! The DC Medical Care Advisory Committee (MCAC) advises the Medicaid program on how it can best meet the needs of people on Medicaid. The group is made up of medical providers, advocates, government officials, and people on Medicaid. The MCAC is seeking nominations for new members to join the Committee starting in October, 2009. If you or someone you know would be interested in joining this committee, please fill out the information below and return it to the Committee. We strongly encourage people on Medicaid to join so that you have a chance to make your voice heard! Committee members are expected to attend monthly meetings, held on the 4th Wednesday of every month from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the Department of Health Care Finance (825 North Capitol St. NE).
