Mazatlan Shawl By Lapslazuli
This shawl was knit as a thank you gift for a very simple and down to earth lady who helped me this summer in Mazatlan. It is a very simple knit triangle shawl with mesh throughout that reminds me of the fishing nets of the locals. There are yarn overs in the stockinet stitch fields that are reminiscent of fish in the ocean, swimming near the fishing nets. The pattern is very simple and a quick knit. Cast on 5.
