WARRIORS MINISTRY A MINISTRY OF EXCELLENCE Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 The Warriors ministry is really taking flight. Between the Faith Warriors and the Junior Warriors the ministry stays on its toes. As you know the Junior Warriors have been joining the Sunday morning worship team. God is transforming the ministry one step at a time. It is an awesome experience!!!

The Armor of God 10

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:10-17

VBS: JULY 20-24 “In the Spot Light” Sunday evening I was able to talk casually one on one with some of the Faith Warriors. It is awesome to get to know these guys on a more personal level. Jenni Roberson says “God has answered many prayers this year”. She said that she is excited about Discovery Camp and the always increasing intensity of God’s power that flows in that place. Hailey Hanna said “Discovery Camp changed my life.” “Can’t wait! Not just for myself but for others to experience it as well.” Cambry will be one of the Faith Warriors who get to experience camp for the first time this year. He said “I’m excited”, God has really given me revelation on many things.” “I’m experiencing God supernaturally”. I’m sure that camp will only heighten what he is already feeling. Hailey and Natalie Gore shared that they are stoked about VBS this year. Natalie asked “Is there going to be worship?” You better believe it girl! Jenni said “I enjoyed VBS. The kids looked up to us and I can’t wait to see how they have grown.” I ended my interview with Toni Roberson summing up the Faith Warriors in one sentence, “It is amazing how they have grown spiritually.” Kristine Wilson
