Dear Assistant Secretary Myers: I am writing to advise you that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is hereby terminating the Memorandum of Agreement entered into between the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Massachu.tts State Police on December 13* 2006 pursuant to Section XVII of the Memorandum of Agreement. Pursuant to Section XVII of the Memerandum of Agreement. this termination is effective immediately upon receipt. For your reference, I have attached a copy of the terminated Memorandum of Agreement.
