Hypothesis & Rationale Bivariate A persons age has an effect on their Marital Status. The younger a person is, the less likely they are to be married; the older a person is the more likely they are to be married. With this said a larger percentage of respondents 40 & over are more likely to be married than those 39 & younger Age

Rationale
I believe that my hypothesis is true given the data. The higher percentage Of those married are in the 49 and over category. Most 18-29 years old are not Married and is not thinking of marriage for several reasons; including but not Limited too; they are young and want to enjoy there youth, some are in college And pursuing their own individual interests, not mature enough, and a lot of yo Is not in a stable relationship. Etc.

The younger a person is the less Likely they are to be married.
57.3% of 18-29 have never been Married; compared to 4.8% of 50+ years. 53.1% of 50+ have been Married compared to 35.1% of 18-29.
Multivariate Findings-Male
62.3% of males in the age range of 32.8% of males in the age range 18-29 18-29 has never been married compared has been married versus 68.5% of 50+ To only 6.8% in the 50 years and older age Year olds ange.

emale married category is a little different; the data varies more. The number of ed are actually in close proximity of one another; 36.9% of 18-29 year olds are m ll as 60.8% of 30-39 year olds, 53% of 40-49 & 43.3% of those 50 and older.
