Professional Projects undertaken Work profile: Working in the development/design of the business services related to our real time web application with the offshore team and to ensure code quality. Client: USA’s one of the biggest Credit Card Company Role: Software Engineer Description: Our project deals with a Real Time Web Service that orchestrates Decisioning using Blaze Rules and Non Rules services for different types of Credit Card Offers like Cross Sell, Collections and Credit Limit Increase etc. The primary objective of this application is to accept the requests from the customers through inbound calls (through various channels like CSR, VRU, OAS) in the form of XMLs and decision on the offers available to them using JPDs which are business process diagrams defined by BEA Web Logic Integration standard and Blaze Rules Engine. Ultimately a set of offers with relevant details are given to the customer as an XML response, Also when a customer accepts an offer real time the offer details are fulfilled for that customer in the Database. Duration: November ‘07 – Present (24 months) Responsibilities: Development of new Business Services like for Collections which included coding in Rules and JPD housed in a separate EAR, created new Rules Service for Collections offers using Blaze Rules Engine 6.5.Did proof of concept (PoC) for JPD – Blaze Rules call Achievements: Required complex business understanding to code the requirements, development under tough SLAs and timelines, got recognition from Client for my efforts. Role: Software Trainee Description: Undergo E&R Training at Infosys, Mysore considered best corporate training in India, Did training in Core Java, Advance Java Programming, J2EE, HTML, XML, Oracle Database, RDBMS, UML, as part of this training program, we created a small web application for Courier Management, the application automated the addition of Customers, Booking Orders, assigning shipments to delivery boys and updating database when delivery occurs. Duration: June’07 – Nov’07 Responsibilities: In this project I developed one whole module related to order booking and was also responsible for the integration of all the modules developed by other members of the team.
