Lynne Chisholm, Univ.-Prof. Dr., holds the Chair for Education and Generation at the Leopold-Franzens-University of Innsbruck in Austria (see: (http://www.uibk.ac.at/ezwi/team/profs/chisholm_a_lynne/ and follow link ‘zur Person’ for cv), where she coordinates the university’s Research Centre on Education, Generation and Life-course (see: http://www.uibk.ac.at/ezwi/forschung/bgl/index.html). She is an international specialist in education, training and youth research in comparative and intercultural context; she is regularly involved in undertaking European and international studies and reports in these fields; currently, she is co-editing UNESCO’s first global report on adult learning and education, coordinates the ASEM-LLL research network on competence development and leads several European projects in the fields of non-formal youth education, intercultural learning and active citizenship. She also holds a visiting professorship at the University of Oslo’s Institute for Educational Research, and is a member of the Austrian Council of Universities of Applied Sciences.
