Lupo Arrest

October 16, 2009 Media Release Re: Auburn Man Arrested For Rape On Thursday October 15th, 2009 the Auburn Police Department arrested Richard John Lupo on an Auburn City Court arrest warrant charging him with 1st degree Rape. An investigation was conducted by the Auburn Police Department’s Detective Bureau after an acquaintance of Lupo’s came forward and reported she was raped by Lupo approximately one year prior. Lupo was subsequently arraigned in Auburn City Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $5,000.00 cash bail but later released after the bail was posted.

Charges: Rape in the 1st degree / Class B Felony
