LPCET – 2009 COMMON ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION INTO LANGUAGE PANDIT TRAINING COURSE 2009-10 CONDUCTED BY STATE CONVENER, LPCET – 2009 & JOINT DIRECTOR (Ele) O/o DIRECTOR OF SCHOOL EDUCATION, HYDERABAD, A.P.

NOTIFICATION Applications in the prescribed form are invited from the eligible candidates of Indian Nationality for the Common Entrance Test (CET) for selection of candidates for admission into one year Language Pandit Training Institutes in the State during the academic year 2009-10 who are possessing the following qualifications and fulfilling the other eligibility criteria as per rules issued by the Government. 1. Date of commencement of Sale of 07-05-2009 Applications at Offices of DEO, A.P.online and e-Sava Centres in the state.

2. Academic Qualifications: The candidates who have passed the following examinations as on the date of submission of application are eligible to appear for LPCET – 2009. Telugu Pandit

Hindi Pandit

Urdu Pandit

B.A (Telugu Literature) or B.A (Oriental Language – Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu or A Graduate Degree with optional subject Telugu or M.A (Telugu) A Graduate Degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor or Oriental Language – Hindi or Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Hyderabad or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (B.A standard) by the Government of A.P. or M.A Hindi. B.A (Urdu Literature) or B.A (Oriental Language - Urdu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language – Urdu or A Graduate Degree with optional subject Urdu or M.A (Urdu)

3. Age Limit: The Candidates should have completed 19 years of age as on 01-07-2009. There is no upper age limit. 4. Availability of Applications: Prescribed printed application form of LPCET – 2009 along with I.C.R Bio-data and Instructions Booklet for LPCET – 2009 can be had in person from e-Seva Centres, offices of District Educational Officer (DEO) in each district & A.P. Online. 5. Address for submission of Applications: Filled in application form along with relevant enclosures should be submitted by registered post to the Convenor, LPCET – 2009 & Joint Director (Ele) O/o Director of School Education, beside Telephone Bhavan, Saifabad, Hyderabad – 500004.

The details in respect of Entrance Test and admission procedure into Language Pandit Training course, 2009-10 are furnished in the instructions Booklet supplied with application form.
