Pre-lesson Assessment of Target Skills Drill Game:”Pakta Bi” The teacher will show an object and the pupils will guess, how long an object is, using the paperclips.(the pupils will give their estimated guess) Review: Which object is light? Which is heavy? A. Introduction Posing a Problem: There is a twin named Bea and Lea. They have their own pencils and paperclips. They want to find the length of their pencil using the paperclips. They will record their estimated and actual length. Focus Questions: 1. Who are the twins in the story? 2. What do they have? 3. Do you think their estimated length would be nearly correct to the actual length? 4. Aside from paperclips , what other materials can you use? 5. How are they going to measure their pencil?

C. MODELLING Video presentation (I DO IT) Teacher will show the correct way of measuring things or objects using the paperclips, popsicle sticks, and matches. The teacher will ask first the estimated measurement of each object. ESTIMATE- a guess will close to the exact or actual length of an object. LENGTH - the measure of an object from one end to the other end.
