Subject: Cancelled Meeting does not Show up in Calendar - IBM's Answer Feedback Type: Problem Product Area: Notes 8 Client Technical Area: User Interface Platform: Windows XP client Release: 8.0.2 Reproducible: Always

I have experienced the following issue in the Notes client 8.0.2 running on Domino 8.0.2. If I create a Meeting and then cancel it, the meeting will show up on my calendar as "grey". However as soon as I open it, it will delete the entry from my calendar. This is with the option checked to autoprocess cancelled meetings automatically and Show as cancelled in calendar. I called into IBM and opened PMR "74226,227" after going back and forth several times with the technician, this was the final answer when it was escalated to development. "Problem: Cancelled meeting does not remain on calendar." "The associated SPR (KWSR7LZQ2G) has been closed as "No Plans to fix in this release". Another SPR (MSTR7LDLCW) describes the same symptoms, against v8.5. The status of SPR (MSTR7LDLCW) is currently "Closed/enhancement request". Thusly, feature development is treating this issue as an enhancement request: We are adding further customer reports of this issue to SPR (MSTR7LDLCW) -- so the customer impact is reflected in the weighting. If weight increases sufficiently, as a result of any additional customer reports, the issue may be reconsidered for an upcoming maintenance or feature release" So if enough people report this same issue, it will increase the weight of the SPR and maybe this feature will be fixed. Thanks for your time Shawn
