On this day, a neighbor brought some food so my brothers Jimmy and Morris didn’t have to leave me in the hut while they looked for food.
We had one meal today so…

On March 31, 2007 Missionary Maresha Johnson-Ddamulira came to my village to take us to our new home.

Two weeks later 9 more children arrived at the orphanage…

…then 3 more children arrived and Mama Maresha along with the staff prepared a nice home for us!

We are a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization in the USA and we are asking for your help to bring our children back into our home! www.abundantlifeorphanages.com

Abundant Life Orphanages Mission: Providing Homes for Orphans in Africa Children preparing for Youth Rally!

All 15 of our children were living in our home, sleeping on comfortable beds, eating food daily, singing songs and dancing and attending a school 10 minutes away!
•
Because of the tough economic times many of our donors stopped their monthly support and our children had to return to the village.

• Today, our children are sleeping in mud and stick thatched huts, drinking diseased water, searching for food to eat daily and they may not be able to attend school because the priority of their extended families is to pay school fees for their biological children first.

• Vicki, Jacqueline, Eunice, Janan, Jimmy, Morris, Dennis Og, Dennis O., Anzil, Ambrose, Solomon O., Solomon B., Issac, Geoffrey, and Lamak are not just orphan children – these are our children! In the village orphan children are oftentimes forgotten!

During these tough economic times we will not forget the promise we made to their extended families to partner with them to care for our children!
We are prepared to welcome our children back home but we need your help! Abundant Life Orphanages 2009
It really does… take a village to raise a child! During these tough economic times you may not be able to sponsor one child. Considered asking, your family, your church, your school and your job to come together to sponsor 1 child.

Consider Child Sponsorship The total cost to care for each child is $1,920 per year. Your sponsorship will provide: •HIV/AIDS testing, education and medical care (if needed)
•Food •Clothing •A place in our home with running water, a bed and loving Aunties providing child care •School fees/uniform/school lunch •Preventive health/dental care
•After school tutoring •School holiday arts, music and literacy camp •An annual family reunion visit and dinner with extended family in the village
