How the visualiser was used? To provide visual stimulation prior to role play and writing. We talked about what the various parts of the machine might do. Then we labelled them. After that the children role played being in the machine. They then drew and labelled their own drawings. Finally they wrote an explanation of how their machine worked. The benefits of the Visualiser to teaching & learning: • Very clear, large picture to help generate ideas for creating own pie machine. A clear model for children who may be stuck for ideas. • To use as an example of how to annotate using labels • To provide a visual clues about features the children could incorporate
