• •
The children completed a plan and a draft of their set of instructions in their books. At the end of the lesson, during the Plenary session, children were chosen to show their work using the visualiser. A snapshot of the work was taken using the Elmo software, Image Mate for Presentation. After the photo was taken, the class read through each set of instructions and talked about them – discussion about its’ features, what was good, how it read, what could be improved etc. Using the drawing features of Image Mate for Presentation, we annotated the work and added extra information, improving how it read. Also, we added punctuation and chose more effective words. This directly lead into the next days lesson, in which the children had to edit their work and redraft it in best.
The benefits of the Visualiser: • • •
