Overhead travelling

A Bridge Crane or Travelling Crane consists of an assembled structure which spans between parallel rails or runway tracks, and is adapted to carry a suspended load horizontally along the runway. Travelling cranes or Bridge cranes can be top running/overhead/overslung or under-hung/underslung with single or double girder configurations. They also incorporate hoists on trolleys to move the load laterally as well as vertically. Travelling cranes or Bridge cranes can be mobilized via push trucks, geared, or motorized end trucks.
