Greetings from Ekam Dear Madam, We are basically working for the healthcare of underprevileged children in Chennai, India by working with Orphanages, Slums, ICDS centres & Corporation, Government & Government aided schools of Chennai through Mafoifoundation by name EKAM -ONENESS community pediatric health project. We are also happy to inform you that Ekam community pediatric health project, has been changed into a Public private partnership model by joining hands with the government health depatment. Institute of Child Health (ICH), Egmore which is a Government Children's hospital has inaugurated the project on Nov 14th, 2008.

We have started working in the Cancer children ward, PICU- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Pediatric Surgical Ward & NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit by bringing in more private organisations to upgrade the ward. Once a model is created then it will be extended to all other wards in the hospital gradually so that the entire hospital is upgraded.
