Dear Mr Eaton, I am writing to you as I have recently found out from The Palm Oil Action Group that you still cook your food in Palm Oil, despite the health and environmental issues associated with its use. Why is this issue important to me? And what action will I take on a personal level?

I therefore call upon you to use your discretion and switch to a healthier alternative oil, one that is healthier for us and healthier for the planet. I look forward to your response. However, please do not tell me that a) you use only RSPO certified palm oil, for until this is independently verified I have grave concerns over their processes and b) that you are actively looking into alternatives, unless you give me a date in 2009 whereby you will make the switch. McDonalds made the switch in 2004 - surely 2009 is the year for KFC! Sincerely,
