MATERIALS • Picture of Sultan Bolkiah’s tombstone. th • Map of Brunei Empire in the 16 century • Worksheets • Textbook PROCEDURE (Students will work in teams / groups) Step 1: Show picture of Sultan Bolkiah’s tombstone and Map of Brunei’s Empire in the 16th century. Step 2: Explain the achievements of Sultan Bolkiah. Step 3: Distribute worksheets questionnaires based on textbook:

PROCEDURE (Students to work in groups) Step 1: Browse through net on Sultan Muhammad Hassan (Http://en.Wikipedia.org/Wiki/Sultan Muhammad Hassan) for about 20 minutes. Students are expected to note down important facts. Step 2: Students are given extra handouts on Sultan Muhammad Hassan. Based on their findings, each group are to prepare 3 questions. Step 3: Each group are then to come forward and present the questions to other groups to answer. The teacher will jot down marks for each group. Group which answers the most questions will be given token.
