- The teacher will show the symbol of the Olympic games and ask some questions to elicit the meaning of it. While students’ answers these questions as a brainstorming, the teacher writes the answers on the board.
- The students will watch the video “the best of us” broadcasted by the Olympic committee. - The teacher encourages the students to pay attention to the details of the video, and to understand the meaning of it. - The teacher checks the students’ reaction to the video asking questions.
- The teacher will show some pictures of sports. - Students to label the pictures, with the appropriate name of every sport The teacher will ask some students to come to the board and label the sports pictures. - The teacher will check spelling with all the class, asking is it correct that name? Is it the right spelling of the word? - The teacher will ask students to add some other sports they know. The teacher writes on the board the names that students come up with.
