A long time ago, in a small village of Scotland, there was a little girl whose name was Rose. She lived in an house near to an ancient forest with her grandparents, Clifford and Susy. Clifford was an huge lumberjack with a very big belly and long, red moustache; he used to wear a striped kilt and loved playing his old bagpipes. Susy was a sweet, old woman with long blonde hair and green eyes; she liked to sing and to cook sweet apple cakes for her loved granddaughter and husband. Rose had a pet too; it was a little bunny named Rudoplh that had red eyes and a white fur with a strange black spot on its back shaped like a flower. Rudolph was a strange bunny: he didn’t like carrotts or salad and only ate grandmother Susy’s cakes! One day Rudolph escaped from the house and went inside the near forest. At first Rose was scared of following her pet, because grandmother Lucy always told her that the forest was a dangerous place where lived a goddness that used to kidnapp little kids. But in the end, worried for Rudolph, Rose decided to go inside the dark forest, but she could not see well and suddenly she bumped into an huge bunny that was standing on its two feet holding Rudolph in its hands. “I’m the goddness that protect this forest”- the big rabbit said – “who are you and what do you want from my son?”. Rose was astonished and could not spell a single word and then the rabbit said again “if you don’t have a present for me, you will stay here forever!”. Rose was so scared, but at the end she heard a music and a sing coming from a distant place and immediatley recognized Clifford’s bagpipes and Susy’s voice, so she started to call them with all her strenght. The grandparents found their little Rose and grandmother Susy took a cake from her basket and offered it to the big bunny saying “take this and let us go back home”. So the big bunny and Rudolph disappered and Rose could go home with her beloved grandparents.
