Fresh Agents – PR and Administration Assistant

In this job I was responsible for analysing models’ portfolios and uploading photos onto the company website using Photoshop. This gave me an insight into the world of fashion and photography and I felt capable of evaluating whether the models photographs had the potential to represent the company. I developed my personal relation skills through the constant communication to clients regarding photo shoots and promotional work. I also monitored the company’s accounts, kept track of money movements and wrote cheques. I was able to produce relevant spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. 2006 – 2008

Modelling Experience

I have previously been involved with modelling for Channel 4, Pepsi and HSBC. I feel this experience has facilitated my understanding of fashion, style and presentation. Furthermore I regularly read fashion magazines to keep updated with the current seasons and trends. Tesco – Checkouts and Stock Control.

Working as a stock controller gave me the responsibility of monitoring and replenishing stock levels on a regular basis. My roles included using the companys ordering system to input and review daily figures and ensure that necessary products were ordered on time. I was also required to train new members of staff and supervise their work until they were fully competent with the job. I discovered that I am a good team player and can work well alongside others. A-Star Promotions – Promotions, PR

Working as a promoter for numerous bars and clubs in Bournemouth allowed me to utilise my communication and interpersonal skills. I was required to network with many venues and interact with the general public in order to ensure that each event was successful. I developed my marketing skills through the advertising and selling of different events and promotional offers. Nov 2008-April 2009

My roles included working behind the bar, in the café and serving food to customers. During busy shifts I found I was able to think on my feet and use my initiative whilst maintaining a high level of customer service. I was also able to use the tills and handle money competently. Oasis – Store Assistant

I was required to serve customers, take payments and customer orders using the till. The store required me to constantly monitor and replenish stock. Furthermore I was capable of creating different store layouts for different trends and seasons. I was often responsible for counting and reviewing the day’s takings and closing the store. Peer Assisted Learning Leader (PAL)

Worked with first year undergraduate students to help them adjust and settle in to university life. I planned and carried out regular tutoring sessions, assisted with study and reading skills, assignment planning and social aspects of university. I enjoy experiencing different cultures and lifestyles and believe that this has improved my education and understanding of the world and the people around me.
