Thank you for your interest in allowing Lamplighter Inn Tavern and Grille to host your upcoming event. In addition to the menu items we are able to accommodate special requests including but not limited to carved meats, stuffed chicken, pork chops and vegetarian/vegan options; just ask the banquet coordinator for some ideas. Theme parties and special requests are never a problem, but do require additional planning time. The quality of our food and service staff combined with our ‘Hometown’ atmosphere makes any function at Lamplighter Inn Tavern and Grille unbeatable. We require that menu selections be confirmed at least 10 days in advance of your scheduled banquet date. Special dietary requests must be made 14 days prior to your event; although we will do our best, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request.

❑ priciNg

Banquet menu prices are subject to change without notice unless you have a signed contract (see contract below) with an agreed upon menu event date and submitted deposit. The customary 20% service charge is in addition to all state/local taxes. Room charges are billed separately and not subject to taxes.

❑ State regulatioNS

No food or beverages, alcoholic or otherwise may be brought into Lamplighter Inn Tavern and Grille by clients or their guests without approval in writing. This is in accordance with state regulations. Guests under 21 must leave after completion of the private event (or 10pm). All guests over 21 consuming alchol must provide proper identification. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

A $100 deposit is required to reserve a function date in the form of cash, visa or MasterCard, company or personal checks. Depending on the size of the function, an additional deposit may be required thirty days prior to the function. Your deposit will be taken off your bill on the day of the function.

❑ FiNal paymeNt

Pricing includes use of the 2nd floor ‘Party Room’, fully stocked bar, 2nd floor washrooms, 2 plasma televisions, jukebox, microphone capabilities and the service of a banquet coordinator to assure that your event goes perfectly.

Payment is expected on the day of the event in form of cash, visa, MasterCard or Discover, company or personal check. There is a $50 service charge on all returned checks.

❑ caNcellatioN policy

Event(s) must be cancelled 10 days prior to event date. Any events not cancelled 10 days prior to the event date will forfeit a $100.00 deposit. Notification must be made with the banquet coordinator at 847-202-8814.

❑ decoratioNS

Your banquet coordinator will be pleased to assist you with decorations, table linens or any other special requirements. Please ask for assistance and restrictions before adhering objects to walls.

❑ outSide eNtertaiNmeNt

Any entertainment hired by you must adhere to sound requirements as set by Lamplighter Inn Tavern and Grille. We have the right to refuse any outside entertainment that we feel is not appropriate. We have sound equipment and lights available at a reasonable fee. Outside entertainment requires a seperate contract, arrangements can be made with our entertainment specialist.

To ensure proper service, Lamplighter Inn Tavern and Grille will automatically assign a minimum of two servers to any party of thirty to fifty people.
