OBJECTIVES : By the end of this lab, students should be able to: 1. Identify, disconnect, and reconnect the computer’s external units. 2. Remove and replace the computer’s cover and cable. 3. Identify the external connectors on the computer. 4. Explain the purpose of each. THEORY/TOPICS : The reason to Disassemble the Computer is: 1. To upgrade. 2. To repair. 3. To add additional hardwaret. The most important things to remember when disassembling a computer are 1. Where cards are located. 2. How cables are routed. 3. Orientation of cables and connectors. 4.
